March 14, 2026 (free, Zoom): Rebuilding Gaza’s health education

by Piyush Mathur

In collaboration with the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG), Mothers of Hind Higher Education international Academic Network (HEiAN) will organise an online conversation on the need and wherewithal to develop a university-level health education system in Gaza.

This will be a free, one-and-a-half-hour-long Zoom conversation that will start at 12 GMT on March 14, 2026.

Aside from Dr. Abeer Pharaon, Chair Trustee of the Mothers of Hind (MoH), the event will have Dr. Amani Mazhar and Dr. Abdelraouf A. Almanama as the main speakers. These individuals will discuss the challenges being faced by IUG’s students and staff within the health education sector, as well as MoH’s sectoral initiatives (such as simulation and virtual lab solutions, certifications, and support packages).

The Zoom link for the meeting will be sent to wannabe attendees after they fill out the following form:

MoH—an educational and medical non-profit, non-governmental organisation—was founded in the UK in 2024 as a tribute to Ms. Hind Rami Iyad Rajab, a 5-year old Palestinian girl killed along with 6 of her family and two paramedics by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) on January 29 that year. There also exists a Hind Rajab Foundation, established on September 24, 2024, in Brussels, Belgium.

MoH also has an Instagram handle: https://www.instagram.com/mothersofhind/
