Three views of Jungfraujoch, Switzerland (August 2025)
Exclusive to Thoughtfox, the following photographs show the Jungfraujoch, Switzerland, from three different vantage points.
Lying at an elevation of 3,463 metres (11,362 ft) above sea level, this world-famous geographical landmark connects the two great European peaks of the Jungfrau and the Mönch—and literally means ‘virgin saddle’. While icy cold, this area is a tourist hotspot—though much of Switzerland might be considered that, too! One of the photos below thus shows a warning in four different languages, including Chinese, Hindi, and Korean.
Taken by Dr. Namita Sethi in August 2025, these images form a part of a larger collection of photographs from her European travels last year. Thoughtfox will gratefully publish her collection in weekly batches through January and February 2026. — Editor
