United Nations seeks your input on AI governance before April 30, 2026

The United Nations (UN) has set April 30, 2026, as the deadline for people worldwide to submit their thoughts, expectations, priorities regarding the global governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This is part of the UN-sponsored initiative called the ‘Global Dialogue on AI Governance’ (AI Dialogue) established on August 26, 2025, pursuant to UN General Assembly Resolution A/RES/79/325.

To be convened twice over the course of two years—2026 and 2027—the AI Dialogue is co-chaired by Ambassador Egriselda López of El Salvador and Ambassador Rein Tammsaar of Estonia. The 2026 convention will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 6 and 7; in 2027, the venue will be New York City, USA, but the dates are not yet decided.

On April 30, the online input form will remain open until 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The Uniform Resource Locator (URL) for the form is as follows:
