January 23, 2026 (ET): Atlantic Council’s hybrid event on India’s AI workforce strategy

The US-based Atlantic Council (AC) will host a hybrid event tomorrow—January 23, 2026—at its Washington, D.C. headquarters focussing on India’s plan to prepare its citizenry for gainful employment and leadership in the unfolding era of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Officially titled ‘Road to Impact Summit 2026: India’s AI Talent Playbook’, this English-language event is supposed to warm up the audience to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, to be held in New Delhi, India, on 16-20 February.

Moderated by Trisha Ray, AC’s GeoTech Center’s Associate Director and Resident Fellow, the event will see opening remarks from Tess deBlanc-Knowles, AC’s Senior Director of Technology Programmes, and Dr. Ajay Kumar, India’s Minister of Commerce.

The panel of external speakers includes Martijn Rasser of the Special Competitive Studies Project; Nicole Isaac, Cisco’s Vice President for Global Public Policy for Government Affairs; and Peter Lovelock, Access Partnership’s Chief Consultancy & Innovation Officer.

AC’s following instructions are important to note: ‘In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time. Registration for this event will close at 5:00 p.m. ET the day prior.’
