August 30, 2026: Ekam Nyaay’s open legal dialogue in Chandigarh on gender justice in India

India’s Gurugram-based Ekam Nyaay Foundation will host an event titled ‘Balancing Justice: Protecting the Innocent while Empowering the Vulnerable’, on August 30, 2026, in Chandigarh. A free, in-person affair lasting 5 hours, the event will see many members of the local and national legal fraternity share their views on gender justice in India.

The event will take place in the Diwan Atmaram Law Auditorium, which is inside the Law Bhawan. The event will commence at 2 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

The event will have Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament in India’s Upper House (Rajya Sabha), as its chief guest. On December 5, 2025, Mittal introduced, as a Private Member’s Bill, the National Commission for Men Bill, 2025 in the Rajya Sabha.
