July 3, 2025: Emergency Zoom meeting on the Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) distribution centres

An emergency Zoom meeting, moderated by Tel Aviv University’s Nimrod Ben Zeev, will be held within hours (at 9 PM Palestine/Israel time) to discuss the problem of the Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) distribution centres—where over 600 Palestinian civilians have been killed and 4,200 wounded by Israeli security forces roughly within a month’s time.

This is a moniker of Tel Aviv University, Israel.

This banner has been shared on Zoom by the meeting’s organisers.

Organised by the Black Flag Action Group (or the Black Flag in Academia), the meeting will have the following participants:

Liat Kozma, Hebrew University
Gadi Algazi, Tel Aviv University
Keren Shavit, Physicians for Human Rights - Israel
Bushra Khalidi, Oxfam

If you are not familiar with Zoom, go to the link a bit ahead of the meeting and follow the prompts to auto-download the free version of the Zoom application on your device.

The meeting time, once again, is 8:00 PM CEST, or 11:30 PM IST, or 10 PM MUT, or 7 AM UK.

Formed in late May 2025, the Black Flag Action Group (BFAG) is a coalition of over 12,00 Israeli academics that got media attention owing to a public statement they collectively released asking Israeli academic institutions to oppose the ongoing war on Palestine. The BFAG lacks a website or any known physical location: It is so far an informal virtual network rather than an organisation.
