Want to sponsor Black Nonbelievers SeaCon 2025? Now is the time!

Black Nonbelievers SeaCon—an annual conference that combines activist testimonies, philosophy, and fun activities on a cruise ship—is currently open to receiving sponsorships. The conference is put together by Black Nonbelievers (BN)—an Atlanta-based 501 c3 non-profit organisation that began operating in 2011, according to its website.

Aboard the Carnival Horizon, this year’s cruise will take place through November 1-9—departing from Miami, Florida, and sailing by Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Grand Cayman, Cayman; and Cozumel, Mexico.

The organisers have promised the following speakers for the conference: Cynthia McDonald, Jasmine Banks, Jeremiah Camara, Candace Gorham, Dr. Leo Igwe, Mandisa Thomas, and Deana Williams.

There are several slabs for wannabe sponsors—and they can be checked out here: https://bnseacon.com/sponsorship-opportunities/

BN is also open to offers of volunteer service; one could apply as a volunteer via this link: https://blacknonbelievers.org/volunteer/

It is useful to note that while one could still offer a sponsorship for this year’s cruise, one cannot join it: The last date to apply for that was in January.

However, one could join BN itself anytime, via this link—and one does not have to be ‘Black’ to join it:

The core purpose of BN is to provide support and community to Black Americans who do not wish to follow any religion but have embraced the path of reason and fact. The organisation, though, remains open to global participants—as members, volunteers, sponsors, and partners, depending on their preferences in how to support its cause.
