UN’s International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has September 13, 2026, deadline for consultant registrations
by Piyush Mathur
The International Organization for Migration (IOM)—the Geneva-based United Nations agency—has an open call for online registration of groups and individuals with expertise in issues related to migration. Once such groups and individuals are part of IOM’s expert database, they may be contacted by the agency for research assignments in the future.
The deadline to apply to be on the database—officially called the Research Partners Panel (RPP)—is September 13, 2026. This is the link to make the application: https://ee.kobo.iom.int/x/3jP9bJE7
Feeding one’s information into the online form does not guarantee one’s inclusion in the database. The IOM will screen the information and notify successful applicants of their inclusion; moreover, being included in the RPP does not guarantee that the applicant will get an opportunity.
If the individual or organisation previously got itself on the RPP, then there is no need to make another application, though the information can always be updated via IOM’s email address.
It is important to note the following statement in the call: ‘Researchers affiliated with an institution or representing an organization already registered in the Panel may also choose to submit a separate application as individual researchers.’
