October 30, 2025 (Krasno Zoom event): Scott Anderson, American journalist, to speak on the Iranian Revolution of 1979 and its legacy

The University of Iowa graduate American journalist and novelist Scott Anderson will speak tomorrow, Thursday, October 30, 2025, in a Zoom event on the Iranian Revolution of 1979 and its legacy.

Anderson’s presentation will be based upon his recent book King of Kings: The Iranian Revolution: A Story of Hubris, Delusion and Catastrophic Miscalculation (Doubleday, 2025), also sold in international markets under the title King of Kings: The Fall of the Shah, the 1979 Iranian Revolution and the Unmaking of the Modern Middle East.

This event is a part of the Krasno Global Events Series, hosted by the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill’s Krasno Global Affairs & Business Council.
