On July 23, Trita Parsi of the Washington, D.C.-based Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft will hold a Zoom conversation with Mohsen Milani on the latter’s latest book, Iran’s Rise and Rivalry with the U.S. in the Middle East (Oneworld Publications, 2025).

Per the institute’s description, Milani is expected to share his findings regarding the US-Iran rivalry since 1979—focussing specifically on the nature of Iran’s strategy and the American failure to truly outmanoeuvre it.
