19-20 June, 2025: ‘Global Digital Geographies’, Royal Geographical Society’s free online symposium
Open to all, the Royal Geographical Society’s Digital Geographies Research Group (DGRG) Annual Symposium will be held online through 19th-20th June 2025.
The theme of this year’s symposium is ‘Global Digital Geographies: Digitalising the Territorial / Territorialising the Digital’.
The symposium will start at 9 AM Hong Kong time on June 19 on Zoom. That would be 6:30 AM IST; 9 PM EST; and 5 AM MT.

The symposium programme committee has the following members:

A UK-based organisation, the Royal Geographical Society is physically located in Lowther Lodge in Kensington. The society’s website tells us that its history goes back to AD 1830, when it was founded as the Geographical Society of London.
