Accountability Archive opens a portal on Yemen

Accountability Archive (AA) has opened a new portal focussing on Yemen, its co-founder Philip Proudfoot announced on LinkedIn on June 8.

An online project that started out with the aim of retaining a full record of media-reported public statements by prominent personalities on the ongoing genocide in Palestine, AA had added Lebanon to its areas of focus already by May.

On the 22nd of that month, Proudfoot had indicated in a LinkedIn post, reported by Thoughtfox here, that AA would be expanded even further—and eventually to all global hotspots seeing ‘mass atrocities’ and violations of International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Yemen happens to be its latest addition.

We will very likely see more and more portals being added to AA as the weeks and months unfold, given the number of mass atrocities that are being committed across the world in our times.

A UK-based website, AA was co-founded by Proudfoot, Mahdi Zaidan, and Alex Foley.
