by Piyush Mathur

The Victoria-registered non-profit non-governmental organisation Australia Myanmar Institute (AMI) will launch the book Federal Design in Myanmar: A Pathway for Unity, Stability and Inclusivity via a free Zoom event on Monday, July 27, 2026. Published by Palgrave Macmillan last month, the book is a collection of essays co-edited by Michael G Breen and Soe Htet, who are both academics with the University of Melbourne.

Breen and Htet will also serve as this one-hour event’s presenters; further information about them can be gained via this link.

There will be a question-and-answer session after their presentations.

On July 27, the event will commence at 6 PM Melbourne time / 12 PM MUT / 1:30 PM IST / 1:45 PM Nepal / 2:30 PM Myanmar / 4 PM CST or 8 AM SBT.
