Yep, you read that right! You have only 4 days left to apply for Noor’s ‘Feminist Journalist Fellowship: Journalism As Resistance’ programme, which opened its application portal as far back as September 17, 2025.
In order to be eligible to make an application for this fellowship, you have to be a ‘Global South’ journalist with some experience reporting (and resisting through your writing) ‘the rise of fascist and fundamentalist movements’, and supporting the cause of women’s empowerment.
You don’t have to be a woman to apply for this 6-month long opportunity that would pay you USD 500 per month, provide you mentorship and networking opportunities, and help you publish (on Noor’s or its associate websites) 3 reports that you would have prepared as part of this programme.
This is the link to the application form, which is very simple to fill out:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf4r7dYNjqgtp8fnv7OLBAOqzf4swaQnUU-uroWlvXTyArBaQ/formResponse
Before starting to fill it out, though, you better take a look at the fellowship’s description on this link:
https://wearenoor.org/feminist-journalist-fellowship/
It is unclear where Noor is physically located; its website describes it as a ‘global feminist and movement-driven think and do tank’, and mentions its funding sources as well as affiliates—but it does not provide a physical address (and Internet searches also failed to yield that information). This omission might be strategic, given the hostility to feminist causes at many places around the world.
All the best with your application, though!
