October 3, 2025: Tällberg Foundation’s free webinar on the new US approach to Venezuela’s narcotic gangs

The Sweden-based Tällberg Foundation will hold a webinar, focussing on Venezuela, on the implications of the US approach under President Donald Trump to fighting narcotic trade and gangs in Latin America.

Within the context of Venezuela, the webinar will focus further on Tren de Aragua, the transnational gang led by Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores (popularly called Niño Guerrero).

There will be two speakers on the panel: Chris Dalby, the author of CJNG: A Quick Guide to Mexico’s Deadliest Cartel and Tren de Aragua: The Guide to America’s Growing Criminal Threat; and Prof. Clionadh Raleigh, the founder of ACLED.

The webinar will take place on October 3, starting at 10:00 am EDT / 4:00 PM CEST / 7:30 PM IST / 6:00 PM Mauritius / 10 PM PRC / 8:00 AM UTC-6 (Central America/Mexico )/ UTC-5: 9:00 AM / Chile: 11 AM .
