December 6, 2025 (hybrid event): ‘Rethinking Peacemaking in Sudan’

The Africa-based Rift Valley Institute (RVI) and the Bergen, Norway-based Sudan Norway Academic Collaboration (SNAC) will host a free hybrid event titled ‘Rethinking Peacemaking in Sudan’ on December 6, 2025.

Per the RVI website, the event ‘will host a panel of Sudanese researchers and experts to discuss the outcome of a two-day closed workshop’ that would have taken place ‘in Nairobi from 4–5 December.’

On December 6, Saturday, this 2-hour event will start at 2 PM Eastern African Time (EAT) or 12 Noon Central European Time (CET). (That would be 4:30 PM IST; 3 PM MUT; 11:00 AM UTC/UK; and 2 PM Saudi Arabia & Turkey.)
